History, mission and vision
The Paradise and Wilderness group is a Dutch family owned hospitality business and is one of the leading travel, hotel and safari companies in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Years ago, Bert and his wife Ana came to Tanzania and Zanzibar for a holiday and immediately fell in love with both destinations. They realized the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar Island and the famous National Parks with stunning environments and wildlife in Tanzania, combine the best of both worlds and make the best holiday combination. Knowing this, they decided to make their dream their life and started their
business adventure. It is therefore the mission of the organization to get as many people as possible to experience the beauty of Africa.
“Now, I am lucky enough to have five Beach Resorts, a Boutique Hotel and a private Island on Zanzibar a Safari Lodge in the Selous GR (Nyerere National Park) and several more Safari Lodges located near or in world’s most famous National Parks: Serengeti Ikoma, Serengeti Klein's Gate, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara, Kilimanjaro and Arusha.”
It's the organization's vision to contribute in creating job opportunities for the local inhabitants of Tanzania.

Hotel Zanzibar specializes in beach holidays in Zanzibar and has five resorts, a Boutique Hotel in Stone Town and its very own private island.
Beach Safari Aviation
Beach Safari Aviation organizes flights with our own airplanes from Zanzibar and Tanzania right into the middle of the game-rich areas of Tanzania's National Parks.

Now Safari organizes last-minute safaris from Zanzibar to the famous National Parks of Tanzania.

Founded with the dream to give back to the communities by having community projects close to all our accommodations, such as at schools, hospitality and for the environment.

As well as safaris, accommodation, flights, and activities, we also offer transport services in Zanzibar and Northern Tanzania.
We are thus able to guarantee the quality of our services as we do not make use of subcontractors.
