Farm Tour – Mto Wa Mbu
Duration: 3 hours
Is a morning or afternoon tour, starting from the market. You walk northwards passing many different farms. On your way, you get an extensive explanation about the various fruits and vegetables growing in the area, and learn about the irrigation system that sustains local crops as the 32 varieties of bananas, including the famous Red Bananas. You will also visit a sunflower seeds production and make marvellous pictures of colourful flower fields with the rift valley as background.
