Selous is special for the many rivers that come here together. By the rivers it is easy for the animals to find food and water, so it is also easy to view them. Selous is not so far from the Indian Ocean, lending it a friendly and mild climate, never too cold or to hot. The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest faunal reserves in the world and is unique for the number and diversity of animals that can be sighted. Elephants, hippopotami, African wild dogs, cape buffalos and crocodiles are relatively easy to find and photograph.
Selous is a wildlife park, so it has more advantages over national parks, including more freedom to explore and no time limits.
Our Safari Game Drives are tailor made according to our guest wishes, interests, preferences and time schedule. Our special Safari Vehicles are converted 4×4 Land Cruisers or Landrovers, and ensure comfort, rellability and safety during the game viewing activity. Selous is perhaps the best reserve in the world for viewing so many animals, birds and nature. Our game drives are always with a fully trained in-house driver and guide.

A kayak is a small, narrow watercraft which is propelled by means of a double-bladed paddle. The traditional kayak has a covered deck and one or more cockpits, each seating one paddler. The cockpit is sometimes covered by a spray deck that prevents the entry of water from waves or spray, differentiating the craft from a canoe. The spray deck makes it possible for suitably skilled kayakers to roll the kayak: that is, to capsize and right it without it filling with water or ejecting the paddler.
