Balloon ride Serengeti NP

Step into the basket and watch the plains turn gold

This popular excursion is a unique experience! You will be picked up before dawn (read between 04:00 and 06:00) at
Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma
and taken to the launch site in Serengeti National Park. After a warm welcome and proper explanation, it’s time to fill the balloon with hot air. Step into the basket and make sure you are properly dressed. A cap can help against the heat of the gas burners above you. Before you know it, the basket detaches from the ground and you slowly ascend.

Meanwhile, the sun is also slowly rising, covering the plains of
Serengeti National Park
a warm golden glow. There is a serene calm and you can see the wildlife awakening from above. Groups of zebras and wildebeest pass by and a few curious giraffes look at you in amazement. Once high in the air, the view is breathtaking. After a beautiful flight of about 1 hour, you will land back on the ground and get a champagne toast with a “full English” breakfast. An experience never to be forgotten!
