Kenmerken & FAQ
The flight between Zanzibar and Selous takes about 30 minutes.
The ideal balance between Selous and Zanzibar is entirely up to your personal desires. This is entirely up to your personal preferences. Selous Game Reserve is a smaller national park than you will find in northern Tanzania. In about 3 to 5 days you can do the main activities in this park, but it is also possible, for example, to go for a day safari to Selous.
Yes, domestic flights and cab rides to the airport are fully taken care of by us and are included in our prices as standard.
In Southern Tanzania, you will experience safari in a quieter and more pristine way. The parks are less crowded, but just as impressive. You often see fewer vehicles, have a greater chance of special encounters and make safari trips on rougher roads or by boat. The parks are a bit further apart in Southern Tanzania than in Northern Tanzania. Because Southern Tanzania is more compact than Northern Tanzania, you always travel from one accommodation, whereas in Northern Tanzania you rather make a round trip along several accommodations.
You go on a private trip, alone or with your travel company. So you will not travel in a group. Our experienced and knowledgeable driver, who is also your guide, will proudly show you Tanzania.
Do you prefer to travel with a mixed group? Then take a look at the possibilities at our Group Tours and Shared Safaris.
For ages 5 and up, everyone is welcome to join the safari!
