At Africa Safari Maasai Boma you can stay in traditional round terracotta huts with thatched roofs, surrounded by stunning views of verdant landscapes and the Maasai Mara in Kenya. Original architecture with comfort

Not sleeping in a safari tent for a while, but enjoying cultural and traditional accommodation? Then Africa Safari Maasai Boma is exactly what you are looking for. All bungalows and Maasai huts at Africa Safari Maasai Boma are inspired by the traditional Maasai boma culture. On the outside the original architecture and on the inside the luxury and comfort we desire on vacation. The round mud bungalows with thatched roofs are simple and solid, yet very comfortable.

Safari comfort bungalow (max. 3 persons)

Step inside the Safari comfort bungalow and feel right at home. Modern comfort, decorated with traditional beadwork and artifacts. The Comfort Bungalow is equipped with a king-size bed and a single bed.

The spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and European toilet are fully equipped, and in the room itself you can store your belongings in the closet. Outside you have a small veranda, also decorated with Maasai handicrafts and overlooking the Ololosokwan valley.

Safari comfort family bungalow (min. 4 & max. 6 persons)

This is the larger version of the Safari comfort bungalow and built in the same Maasai way. This bungalow is suitable for the whole family to stay together in one “manyatta”, just as Maasai families would. The Comfort Family Bungalow is equipped with 2 king-size beds and a single bed. An additional single bed can be added upon request. A dressing table table, an open closet, a sitting area with a coffee table, a walk-in shower, a European toilet and a sink complete the room. End the day on your private veranda with chairs as the sun sets. You will probably see the Maasai walking by with their cattle or some grazing zebras.

Maasai safari hut (max. 2 people)

The Maasai safari hut is small and simple. Built in the local traditional way with an earthen floor, traditional plaster and grass as roofing. You can stay here with a maximum of 2 guests and the Maasai hut is equipped with 2 single beds. The furniture is made of organic materials such as twigs and branches, and Maasai blankets on the beds complete the feeling. On the chairs outside, you can discuss your day with your neighbors, as the Maasai elders would. It doesn’t get any more local than this!

Restaurant & Bar

Walk further up the hill to reach the restaurant and bar. You will receive a warm and warm welcome from the local staff and the fireplace that burns wonderfully on colder evenings. The restaurant has a fantastic 180-degree view of the valley with Kenya in the background. Experience it with your own eyes to also fall in love with this magical place.

The chef does his best every day to put the most delicious dishes on the table, from different world cuisines. Freshly prepared and lovingly served by one of his colleagues. Enjoy a drink by the fireplace or play a Tanzanian game at the bar before going back to sleep in one of the bungalows or Maasai huts.

Swimmingpool

Need to cool off in the pool after a long day in the safari jeep? You can at Africa Safari Maasai Boma. The pool is located next to the restaurant and bar and has a number of nice sun beds with fixed umbrellas. But this pool is also the perfect place to watch the sunrise. Magical colors appear as the sun rises higher and higher from behind the Kenyan hills. That early wake-up call is absolutely worth it.
