On the edge of the Serengeti: the passage of the Great Migration

Because of its location adjacent to the Serengeti, Ikona acts as a corridor for migrating herds. In the dry season, wildebeest and zebra migrate through the grasslands and along the riverbeds, followed by predators. This provides dynamic safari moments with hunting and grazing scenes in a rugged, less crowded setting.

The difference between Ikona and other (national) parks

Whereas famous parks like the Serengeti excel in grandeur and visitor numbers, Ikona actually offers a smaller-scale, quieter experience.
