- We manage all travel arrangements booked through us, including international and domestic flights, accommodation, safaris, excursions and transfers.
- We coordinate directly with the airlines and other travel partners, so you have one dedicated point of contact.
- We carefully arrange your airport transfers and connections to keep your journey running smoothly.
- Complimentary early check-in and late check-out, where available.
If your plans change
- We contact the relevant airlines and travel partners and arrange suitable alternatives.
- If necessary, we arrange additional accommodation at no extra cost when a service booked through us is disrupted.
- We adjust your itinerary to keep as much of your original programme in place as possible.
AMREF Flying Doctors Membership included
In a medical emergency, AMREF Flying Doctors provides air evacuation from the bush to a suitable hospital. Membership is part of the Relax Package when you book a 10+ day trip with us.

If your trip includes international flights, these flights are paid in full at the time of booking, together with a 10% deposit on the rest of your journey.

Booking without international flights
For safari or hotel packages without international flights, a 25% deposit is required when booking.

The remaining balance is due 45 days before your arrival.

You stay relaxed
When you book your international and domestic flight through us, flight disruption support becomes part of your Relax Package. If your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed, we arrange a suitable alternative, any necessary accommodation and the adjustments to your itinerary and we contact the airline on your behalf and pass on any refunds.

Safe on the road
We manage our own vehicles and have support and replacement jeeps on standby. So if something breaks down in the bush, it does not mean the end of your safari day.

A local, professionally trained guide travels with you and tells you everything about the nature, history, wildlife and culture of Tanzania, in your own language.
24/7 support
Our own team on the ground is always happy to help you in your own language, and our office is reachable day and night. Even if a question pops up while you are above the clouds.
During your trip you travel in a well-maintained 4×4 with support from our own workshops and replacement vehicles if needed. Your private guide stays with you throughout the journey, and our team is available around the clock for anything unexpected.
A doctor, a short walk from your room
Peace of mind, wherever you travel, professional medical care is always close at hand.
Extraordinary destinations are often far from major medical facilities. That is why we provide our own on-site clinics at four key locations: two along the Zanzibar coast and two on Tanzania’s safari circuits.
Each clinic has a qualified doctor on site, ready to assist with common holiday concerns such as sunburn, stomach upsets, ear infections and minor injuries. If further medical attention is required, our team will coordinate referrals, X-rays and fitness-to-fly documentation, and a dedicated team member will accompany and support you throughout the process.
So even in the most remote and beautiful surroundings, professional medical care and personal assistance are always close at hand.

Treatment is billed to you or to your travel insurer, so please travel with valid cover and bring your policy details. Our guest relations teams speak several languages and will stay with you throughout, including at any appointment away from the property.

Airport meet & greet at the Uhuru VIP Terminal
No queues and crowded halls: at Kilimanjaro International Airport we can welcome you in a private terminal and lounge, where our host handles every formality while you sit down with a coffee.
How it works
On arrival you are met at the aircraft and taken straight into the private terminal. Immigration and visa formalities are handled with you at your seat, your luggage is collected for you, and your driver-guide meets you at the door — usually while other passengers are still in line.
On departure it works the other way around: check-in and boarding passes are arranged inside the lounge, you pass a private security gate and walk to your aircraft when it is time to board. Perfect for a late-night flight after your last safari day.

When your flight is booked through us we arrange a suitable alternative, any necessary accommodation at no extra cost and the adjustments to your itinerary. We contact the airline on your behalf and pass on any refunds.
Which optional services can I add to my package?
You can extend your package with a VIP airport pickup, airport meet & greet with early check-in and late check-out, a local SIM or eSIM, and a farewell experience before your flight home. These are paid separately.
