Sleeping in a tent is always special and the feeling of being able to do so so close to nature adds an extra dimension to your stay. The Safari Comfort accommodation has a king-size bed and the ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Enjoy the views and sounds of nature from your private terrace.

Safari Comfort Family tent (max. 6 people)

The Safari Comfort Family tents are made of canvas, adding to the experience of a safari vacation. This larger tent accommodates 6 guests with one king-size bed and two bunk beds. The accommodation has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The outdoor terrace is the perfect place for the whole family to gather and enjoy the tranquil views.

Safari Luxury Glamping Tent (max. 3 people)

Safari Tent (max. 2 people)

Simple but practical, the safari tents are the perfect low-cost option to experience Lake Manyara. Furnished with two beds and a small sitting area outside, this is your chance to get back to basics and enjoy the adventure. The tents are close to the restaurant, spa and pool.

Restaurant & Bar

Step inside the restaurant and immediately experience the amazing view. There are no windows in the restaurant, making you even more connected to the surroundings. The restaurant is located on the shores of the lake, on the border of Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy the Maasai people walking by and herding their cattle. Or of wildlife, such as zebras and wildebeest grazing the grass.

The restaurant serves a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, but you can also treat yourself to a dish from the à la carte menu Both local and international dishes are served, all prepared with fresh produce. You’re sure to love it! If you have dietary restrictions, let our chefs know and they will be happy to prepare a special dish for you.

The restaurant also has a lounge and a bar where you can order freshly prepared cocktails and other drinks. It is a nice place to have your first cold drink after your safari or to hang out after dinner. The bar is well stocked and the WIFI here works well. Time to send your newly taken photos to your friends and family.

Infinity pool

The pool at Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment is a joy to swim in. It is large and just a bit higher up, giving you a beautiful view of the cliff, the vast plains and Lake Manyara. Zebras regularly come to graze around the pool and you can relax on one of the sun beds with towels. The bar is right next to it and if you want to get out of the sun, you can enjoy reading a book under the parasol.
